Shaniya Davis

I was not going to talk about this because it’s so similar to my first post, but that in itself is why I should talk about it. I'm sure everyone has heard what has happened, but I'll recap. Shaniya Davis is the five-year-old girl who was found dead in North Carolina on Monday. She grew up with her father, but her mother recently gained custody of her. Shaniya had only been with her mother for a month before losing her life. The assumption is that Shaniya was sold for prostitution in exchange for drugs, money, etc.

I feel so sorry for her father. Shaniya appeared to be a happy child and I believe that her father had everything to do with that. Now he's stuck with this pain and is blaming himself for allowing his daughter to be with her mother. I'm more than sure he never thought anything like this would happen to his little one. He probably felt that he was doing something noble by giving mother and daughter the chance to bond. How could Antoinette Davis do such a thing? This innocent little girl did nothing to deserve such a heartless end. I have no sympathy for her mother and I hope she gets the death penalty and spends eternity in hell. She, the man who raped Shaniya, and anyone else who has harmed her deserves the worst punishment(s) imaginable!

Why does this keep happening? Why are child abductions the “thing to do” now? Why are people continuing to create so much pain for others? Why, why, why? I seriously want to know what goes through the heads of these individuals as they’re molesting, murdering, kidnapping someone’s child. It blows my mind that some people do not see anything wrong with what they are doing. It’s like it’s as normal as putting on clothes. Sadly it’s become a part of the cruel world we live in. A child goes missing everyday and that’s normal?! Wth?! Something’s got to give!
